CALIFORNIA IS AMONG THE HARDEST-HIT STATES — MAKING THE CRISIS HERE ESPECIALLY DEVASTATING. Many were healthy, adoptable dogs who lost their lives simply because there wasn’t enough space. It’s a preventable tragedy that shouldn’t exist — and every day, it seems to get worse.
With no real solutions being enforced at the state level, rescues like ours are left to pick up the pieces. We’re entirely volunteer-run, and donations are what make our work possible — turning desperate situations into second chances.
